Pastor Bobby Jones has been serving as Lead Pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship (formerly known as Eagle River Church of God) since May 1998. He is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina. Pastor Bobby was in the military from 1966 to 1990, His overseas duty assignments included Vietnam, Korea, and Alaska. He and his wife Linda were married January 24, 1969. They have 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandsons.
Pastor Bobby Jones began his preaching ministry in 1994 and served as the Associate Pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship. In 1998, God elevated Pastor Bobby to the position of Lead Pastor. Under his leadership, the church has experienced rapid growth and the mighty hand of God has been very evident in all that we did as a church. In 2003 God miraculously provided an extra piece of land to add more parking on the property. In 2004, the church was remodeled to accommodate a fellowship hall, Sunday school class rooms, and a full service kitchen. Harvest Christian Fellowship has remained strong under the Leadership of Pastor Bobby and Sister Linda Jones.
Pastor Bobby currently serves as Military Ministries Representative for the State of Alaska. He also serves as District Overseer for his district. He is a member of the State Ministerial Development Board and Central Ministerial Examining Board for the Church of God!
With a practical, yet insightful and charismatic preaching style, Pastor Bobby is dedicated and anointed to spread the Good News to everyone he meets.
